Jacob Wess, often referred to as “Wess”, is a 24-year-old born and raised in Columbus, OH. It all started when he waited in line for the Jordan 5 “Oreo” in November of 2013. Since Wess started trying to buy and collect shoes at just 12 years old, he quickly realized it was an expensive hobby. After attending a few trade shows hoping to buy his next pair he had saved up for, Wess saw how many people were turning their hobby into a passionate career and decided to give it a try himself. The rest is history…
Bailey.

Bailey Leforge is a 26-year-old originally from Dayton, OH. "It all started with $100." Bailey got into shoes over 10 years ago when he used his only $100 to buy a pair of the “White Infrared” Jordan 6, which he later traded away. Over the years, he was able to turn that $100 shoe into hundreds of shoes and thousands of dollars and then eventually met Wess along the way. In 2019, they decided to become business partners to open a brick-and-mortar store, and in June 2020, Sole Stop opened its doors for the first time.
